Murphy Landing has eleven cabins ranging in size from one to three bedrooms. Seven of the cabins are lakeside, and four are set back on a small hill overlooking the lake. Parking for cars, boats, and trailers is plentiful. Our grounds are level and well maintained.

Each cabin is fully furnished. We take special pride in the cleanliness of our cabins. We provide bed linens, and our kitchens are stocked with equipment and utensils, including microwave ovens. Each cabin has a private bath with a shower. We remodel and update our cabins on a regular, rotating basis.

Each cabin also has its own picnic table and charcoal grill. We have lawn chairs centrally located where guests gather each day to share stories or just relax. The resort has free Wi Fi Internet access. Most cell phones work at the lake, although coverage can be spotty given our Northwoods location.

Each cabin rental includes a 14-foot aluminum boat or docking space for your own boat. 15 HP outboard motors are available for rent, as are additional boats. We also have two pontoons for rent, and a Smokercraft fishing boat. We sell gasoline and oil, and we have plenty of life preservers and boat cushions for your use.

Check in is at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday; check out is 9:00 a.m. the following Saturday. We rent only by the week. We do not accept credit cards (cash or checks only). Sorry, no pets are allowed.

Many people who inquire about the resort ask about which cabin is best for their needs. With the exception of Cabin 8, all of the lakeside cabins were original to the resort. They are right on the water and, while all of them have been updated, they are smaller in terms of living space. The hillside cabins and Cabin 8 have larger living rooms and bedrooms. The right cabin for your family is based on personal preference: many of our guests want to be near the water, while others prefer to have a little extra room or privacy.
